The Tijara Fort-Palace was an unfinished marvel of three structures, built in the Rajput-Afghan style with early colonial influences: the Mardana for the royal men, the Rani Mahal for the maharanis and a pleasure palace on the edge of a plateau, overlooking a water body called the Hawa Mahal, palace of winds. The palace has been restored & brought to life by The Neemrana Group of Hotels. It’s not just the history and the unique design of the fort that’s interesting, it’s rooms are equally unique too - every single one of them. Each room has been designed & curated by the most celebrated artists, designers & photographers – the likes of which include J.J. Vallaya, Raghu Rai, Tarun Tahilliani, Rohit Bal, Vivek Sahni, Meera-Muzaffar Ali, John Bissell & Adil Ahmed to name a few! Code Silver was invited to design & curate two rooms at the palace.
